Otter is a notes product. People use it to keep a transcript and a summary of a meeting. Veyl is a live coach on your screen. It suggests what to say next while the call is still happening, and it does not join as a bot.
Veyl is not another meeting recorder. If you only want AI notes, Otter is a better fit. If you earn through 1:1 client conversations and want help with what to say next, that is the job Veyl is for.
Honest limits
We are not scoring Otter, and we are not listing their current plan. The difference we will stand behind is the job: notes after the meeting, versus a private suggestion during it.
On Veyl, live coaching is on Starter and Pro. Free to start does not include live coaching. The desktop widget is kept off your screen share. You are responsible for recording consent.
