Granola is a notes-first meeting tool. Veyl is coaching-first. During a client call it suggests what to say next on your screen. Nothing joins the meeting as a bot.
Veyl is not another meeting recorder. If you want notes, Granola sits in that category with Otter and Fireflies. If you earn through 1:1 client conversations and want help with what to say next, that is the job Veyl is for.
Same laptop, different job
Both can sit near a laptop call. The job is different. Granola’s reputation is the note you keep. Veyl’s job is the line you say next, then the tasks you save. On Starter and Pro that coaching runs during the call. Free to start does not include live coaching.
On the desktop app, Veyl’s widget is kept off your screen share. You are responsible for recording consent. Optional Google Calendar or Outlook sync is read-only. It does not create or edit events, and it is not a login.
