- If Veyl ever fails to open, it now says what went wrong and saves a log you can send us, instead of closing without a word.
- A build that is missing part of itself can no longer reach the download page. Every release is checked first.
- Updates still download quietly in the background and ask you once to restart.
If Veyl will not open
Two earlier builds, 0.1.8 and 0.1.9, could not start. They also cannot repair themselves: the update check runs after the point where they stop, so they never see that a fix exists. Reinstalling is the only way out, and it takes about a minute.
- Quit Veyl if it is running.
- On a Mac, drag Veyl from Applications to the Trash. On Windows, remove Veyl from Settings → Apps.
- Download Veyl again from meetveyl.com/download and open it.
Nothing is lost. Your meetings, tasks, and notes live in your account, not in the app.
From 0.1.10 onward, updates install themselves again, so this is a one-time step.
