- Fixed: on Mac, clicking Restart to install an update could leave Veyl running in the background instead of finishing the install — so it kept asking again on every launch.
- Update activity is now logged to a file on your machine, so a future update problem is easier to diagnose.
If Veyl keeps asking you to restart
If you're on 0.1.10 or 0.1.11, the update check itself still works, but the installer is the part that was broken — so clicking Restart on an older build may not bring you to 0.1.12 either. Reinstalling once gets you a build where it works.
- Quit Veyl if it is running.
- On a Mac, drag Veyl from Applications to the Trash. On Windows, remove Veyl from Settings → Apps.
- Download Veyl again from meetveyl.com/download and open it.
Nothing is lost. Your meetings, tasks, and notes live in your account, not in the app.
From 0.1.12 onward, updates install themselves reliably, so this should be the last time.
