The moment Veyl is built for is short: your client has just said something, and you have a second or two to decide what to ask next. Whatever helps you in that moment has to be specific, grounded in what was actually said, and quiet enough not to pull you out of the conversation.
That's the bar we used to choose the model behind Veyl's coaching. As of this week, live coaching, Ask, notes, summaries, and follow-up drafts run on OpenAI's GPT-6 Luna.
What we tested
Before switching, we ran the same coaching sessions through the previous model and GPT-6 Luna: a discovery call, a structured interview, a session where you're the attendee rather than the host, and a single-microphone in-person meeting. Both passed our quality checks. Then we walked real sessions in the app.
The difference showed up in the details.
It builds on the client's words. In a discovery call where a client said deals were stalling after a pricing change, GPT-6 Luna's suggested question started from what they'd noticed: *"You've noticed the drop-off began around the packaging change. What feedback, if any, have prospects shared about the new pricing?"* That's the kind of reflective question that keeps a client talking.
It separates evidence from guesses. Its listen-for tips point at whether a concern is something the client has seen happen or something they're still unsure about. That's often the most useful thing to notice in a coaching or discovery conversation.
It makes the impact concrete. When you're the attendee, it helps you put a number on the problem. For example: fifteen to twenty meetings a week at thirty minutes of follow-up each is roughly seven and a half to ten hours of work.
What stays the same
You still decide what to say. Veyl doesn't join your call as a bot, and the floating notes stay off your screen share. Replies still wait until there's enough of the conversation to be useful. Brief it before the call, and it listens before it suggests.
Also in this release
- A brief connection drop no longer ends your session.
- Upgrading your plan mid-meeting keeps the recording going.
- Minute-pack minutes carry over month to month, and your plan minutes are used first.
