Coaches hate bots in Zoom because the bot shows up as another person in the room. On a 1:1 where trust is the product, that arrival is awkward. The client sees a recorder before they see you settle.
Veyl does not do that. Nothing is added to the participant list. The suggestion sits on your screen. Veyl is not another meeting recorder.
Kept off your share, not a legal cover
On the desktop app, the widget is kept off your screen share. That is a product fact. It is not a promise that the other person cannot know you use a tool, and it is not legal cover. Let your clients know you use a note-taking assistant, and follow local recording and consent law. Veyl does not make a recording legal.
A better fit, and a worse one
Use Veyl when the hard part is the live moment: what to say next, then a task you do not drop. Skip it when you want a company-wide bot to attend every meeting and file notes for people who were not there.
Live coaching is on Starter and Pro. Free to start does not include it.
